Wayne E. Wright, Ph.D.

   Dr. Wayne E. Wright is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Bicultural-Bilingual Studies in the College of Education and Human Development at the University of Texas, San Antonio.

   His research interests include: Second language teaching and learning; English as a second language (ESL); bilingual education; sheltered English immersion; heritage language programs; equitable educational programs for language minority students; language policy; high-stakes testing and accountability policy; literacy; bilingualism and biliteracy; language shift, maintenance, and loss; Asian American education; Southeast Asian American education; Cambodian American education; Khmer (Cambodian) language and culture.
